Dear Family & Friends –
We wanted to take a quick moment to thank each and every one of you for your heartfelt thoughts and tefillos (prayers) over the past couple of weeks. That these weeks have been trying goes without saying. However, things have come a long way in a short time. While Benny’s diagnosis is not a pleasant one, his doctors’, the best in the world for his particular type of illness, are very hopeful for a full recovery with Hashem’s help. He has come through his first chemotherapy cycle very well. We have a long road ahead of us and we are certainly going to continue to rely on each of our wonderful family members and friends as we travel this path to a full recovery – and we thank you in advance for your continued support and help.
Right now, the most important thing to us is that we continue to storm the Shaarei Shamayim (Gates of Heaven) with tefillos, ameins, and acts of kindness. Please keep telling us about inspirational things you are doing on Benny’s behalf as they give us the strength to persevere when things seem most challenging.
Each and every one of you is a critical member of “Team Benny” and plays a pivotal role in his recovery.
Please continue to pray for Binyomin Chaim ben Faigie Sarah with all of your hearts.
We are going to be setting up a website to keep everyone informed of Benny’s progress and will let you know when that is available. In the meantime, I have attached a document with the remarks I shared at Benny’s bris about his namesake, Zaida Ben Genauer (may his merit protect us). With his help in heaven, our efforts here are sure to be successful.
With great love and appreciation,
Ari and Faigie Brecher (and Benny)
