The Power of Silence!

Faigie and Ari,
Your communications are so meaningful to all of us. You make everyone feel so grateful for everything that Hashem has granted to us.
I’m not sure if I told you this, but I will tell it anyways.
A while back I took on the practice of not talking in Shul during Davening, in the merit of a Refuah for Benny. The main person I had to tell was Ezra because he sits next to me. So of course, Ezra also decided not to talk in Shul for the same Z’chus. There was another fellow who sits behind me who also had a habit of shmoozing with me, so I told him what I was doing and the reason. He doesn’t even know Benny but he took it on also.
But that’s not all.
Ezra and I decided that the only talking we would do was Bain Gavra L’Gavra but only Divrei Torah on the Parsha. Well, after Shlishi you usually run out of them. So both of us spend the whole week looking for enough Divrei Torah to tell each other. So not only don’t we talk during Davening, we also prepare the Parshas HaShavua much better during the week.
I don’t know what else to say except that I think of you all the time and pray for a Refuah Shlaimah for Benny B’Soch Kol Cholei Klal Yisroel.
E.G.
